We are a NYS OASAS certified site. Our staff can meet your child in their school building, or on site in our counseling offices at East Main Street. Counseling services are to address a host of prevention needs, such as, anger management, substance use experimentation, low self-esteem, child's feelings regarding family life stress, such as, grief, divorce and addiction.
Services are free to youth in Western Steuben County. Our staff can also utilze a new intervention; Teen Intervene, to assess teen susbstance abuse.
Caring Attitudes Mentoring Program (C.A.M.P.)is for 8-13 year olds. The younger students are provided weekly group mentoring by older teens and adults with activities geered to enrich relationships by sharing the wonder of nature.

Available for youth 8-19, our youth centers are a welcoming environment. Providing a safe place for young people to hang out and relax. There are staff present at all times who provide a number of activities to build skills, personal life experiences, and increase self-esteem.

Concern for Youth had over 800 youth visit their center last year, and 2,000 students in monthly school prevention programs. Donations make it possible for our youth to participate in an array of activities and fieldtrips to widen their personal life experiences, increase their self -esteem , and improve communication skills. Donations also assist us in providing healthy snacks and meals to young people. A $10 donation can provide 5 kids a complete healthy dinner. $24 can provide 18 youth with a day at a State Park exploring and enjoying nature.$50 can provide an entire class of students with incentive rewards for finishing 6 years of Drug Prevention Programming.
